What About Critical Thinking In Our Educational Systems ?

To what extent is the critical thinking allowed in our schools? How about the developed world? Those most recent figures surveyed by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2019 might be expected.. or not!

As per the source, critical thinking’s sub-index is measured by the response to the following question :

“In your country, how do you assess the style of teaching (from 1 to 7) ?”

Where 1 stands for frontal, teacher-based, and focused on memorizing, and 7 means encouraged creativity and critical individual thinking.

WEF based its calculations on the weighted average or most recent period available (2018-2019).
